A New Day - Interior Design StudioBespoke kitchen design - pill shaped fluted island with ink blue wall cabinetry. Zellige tiles clad the shelves and chimney breast, paired with patterned encaustic floor tiles.
Sustainable KitchensView of an L-shaped kitchen with a central island in a side return extension in a Victoria house which has a sloping glazed roof. The shaker style cabinets with beaded frames are painted in Little Greene Obsidian Green. The handles a brass d-bar style. The worktop on the perimeter units is Iroko wood and the island worktop is honed, pencil veined Carrara marble. A single bowel sink sits in the island with a polished brass tap with a rinse spout. Vintage Holophane pendant lights sit above the island. The black painted sash windows are surrounded by non-bevelled white metro tiles with a dark grey grout. A Wolf gas hob sits above double Neff ovens with a black, Falcon extractor hood over the hob. The flooring is hexagon shaped, cement encaustic tiles. Black Anglepoise wall lights give directional lighting.

We really love this extension and how well the structural elements such as the exposed brickwork and beautiful clean glazing work with the bold colours and woodwork. Rough and clean textures are softened with warm wood which achieves the right balance creating a wonderful atmosphere and entertaining space. Part of the requirement was to retain the first floor roof terrace. The pitched roof down the side helps to create interesting angles whilst letting the beams sit below the ceiling.

The custom-made Rochon shaker wood cabinets in teal are the highlight of this space. The center island features a ton of storage as does the custom wall unit. The appliance are stainless steel and the large windows, skylights, and double sliding doors bring natural light to this happy space.

Anne Chemineau - Decor InterieurLe projet : Aux Batignolles, un studio parisien de 25m2 laissé dans son jus avec une minuscule cuisine biscornue dans l’entrée et une salle de bains avec WC, vieillotte en plein milieu de l’appartement.
La jeune propriétaire souhaite revoir intégralement les espaces pour obtenir un studio très fonctionnel et clair.
Notre solution : Nous allons faire table rase du passé et supprimer tous les murs. Grâce à une surélévation partielle du plancher pour les conduits sanitaires, nous allons repenser intégralement l’espace tout en tenant compte de différentes contraintes techniques.
Une chambre en alcôve surélevée avec des rangements tiroirs dissimulés en dessous, dont un avec une marche escamotable, est créée dans l’espace séjour. Un dressing coulissant à la verticale complète les rangements et une verrière laissera passer la lumière. La salle de bains est équipée d’une grande douche à l’italienne et d’un plan vasque sur-mesure avec lave-linge encastré. Les WC sont indépendants. La cuisine est ouverte sur le séjour et est équipée de tout l’électroménager nécessaire avec un îlot repas très convivial. Un meuble d’angle menuisé permet de ranger livres et vaisselle.
