British Standard by Plain EnglishThe second project for Edit 58's Lisa Mehydene, this time in London. The requirement was one long run and no wall cupboards, giving a completely open canvas above the worktops.

We transformed this open-plan kitchen-diner into an industrial-inspired oasis by blending industrial and Scandinavian elements. The design features a rich, smoky green palette accented with brass and metallic details. A striking acoustic panelling feature wall adds texture, while herringbone flooring and stylish shaker-style cabinets pull the look together, making this kitchen a true visual standout.

The focal point of the kitchen is the impressive XMATT range in a sleek Matt Black finish crafted from recycled materials. This choice not only reflects a modern aesthetic but also emphasises the kitchen's dedication to sustainability. In contrast, the overhead cabinetry is finished in crisp white, adding a touch of brightness and balance to the overall aesthetic.
The worktop is a masterpiece in itself, featuring Artscut Bianco Mysterio 20mm Quartz, providing a durable and stylish surface for meal preparation.
The kitchen is equipped with a state-of-the-art Bora hob, combining functionality and design innovation. Fisher & Paykel ovens and an integrated fridge freezer further enhance the functionality of the space while maintaining a sleek and cohesive appearance. These appliances are known for their performance and energy efficiency, aligning seamlessly with the kitchen's commitment to sustainability.
A built-in larder, complete with shelves and drawers, provides ample storage for a variety of food items and small appliances. This cleverly designed feature enhances organisation and efficiency in the space.

Drawn Interior DesignWalls were removed, internal windows added and an off the shelf kitchen was elevated through the use of vintage & handmade details.
Hob aperture & internal window are lined in reclaimed science lab worktops, complete with mean graffiti.

The Myers TouchThis dark & light Grey kitchen comprises Dekton work surfaces, German cabinetry with Pocket Doors leading into a walk-in larder storage with state-of-the-art Gaggenau appliances for Cooling and Cooking. A large Bar area is hidden away by 4 Pocket doors in Bronze finish that fold back with state-of-the-art Gaggenau wine coolers.
